That I have the incredible opportunity to participate in a webinar with The Center for Faith. I will be alongside camping veteran Austin Ashcraft and host Greg Coles and we will discuss and dissect what it looks like to be a Christian summer camp that holds holds high the gospel message and also creates welcome spaces for campers wrestling through questions about gender and/or sexuality.

If you’ve read anything in this blogging space that I’ve hosted, you know that questions about gender and sexuality in particular can impede a students hearing and receiving the good news of Jesus.

We want to sharpen each other and come alongside other camps to equip and share ways that we have been successful in this endeavor, as well as ways that we’ve struggled and failed.

It all comes down to wanting to love well.

To love in a specific context to specific teens with specific questions.

We want to explain, as my friend Laurie Krieg says, why the gospel is good news for everyone.
